A documentation project in which Masataka Hosoo, the 12th head of the House of HOSOO, visits 33 dyeing and weaving regions in Japan to record the centuries-old techniques and beauty of textiles from his own unique perspective. An exhibition was held at HOSOO GALLERY in 2019 to showcase textiles from various regions, along with their records. In addition, for approximately two years from 2020, HOSOO posted on Instagram a vast amount of documentary photographs and newly written texts almost daily as an online exhibition.
